To ensure this is accomplished one can have a full body pillow or strap a tennis ball on the back to warn you when you want to sleep on the back. The two help maintain a sleeping pattern on the side.

  • Taking too much alcohol especially just before sleeping

Snoring and alcohol are great dependents. Reducing alcohol intake especially up to five hours to sleeping time will help to manage snoring. This is because alcohol in addition to other sedatives minimize the muscle resting tone on the throats’ back leading commonly to snoring.

  • Being too tired when going to bed

Being too exhausted as you go to sleep makes you to sleep like a log. This however makes you to be less intuitive of the breathing problems as you sleep. It may also make you to sleep in positions that are likely to increase snoring like the back.

When those drinks consumed regularly they increase the calories in the body and thus some are changed to glycogen for storage. This thus leads to weight gain which might lead you to think “why have I started snoring all of a sudden?”. Plain water does not have any calories and quenches the thirst. The soft drinks might also contain sodium which causes the body to retain water and thus serving to increase our weight

  • Reduce your salt intake.

Salt contains sodium. Sodium is an electrolyte that is excreted by the kidneys and skin. However, when the blood has a high concentration of sodium, it reduces the water excreted through urine and sweat causing people to gain weight.

  • Getting enough sleep every night.

Being drowsy in the morning or during the day may be a major cause of not exercising enough. A good night sleep enables you to have a high energy work-out and also enables the body to breakdown the carbohydrates more.

  • Taking coffee or tea just before exercise.

Coffee taken before exercise enables the user to increase the exercise length and intensity. This is because coffee is a natural stimulant which energizes the work-out.

Those methods and others help one to lose weight. Losing weight reduce the neck fats which enable the snorer to reduce snoring. Therefore snoring and weight relate very much.
